Impossible Animals Hybrids List: Verified Entries on Record
An evidence-backed Impossible Animals hybrids list: named fusion results on record with parents, star counts, in-game $/s income and Shiny or Double Fusion type, plus footage-named hybrids and appearance-identified outcomes. Current as of October 9, 2026 against the October 3, 2026 update — an open-ended catalog, not a claim that every hybrid is known.
In Impossible Animals, a hybrid is the creature the game creates when two parents are fused. Every fusion ends on a result screen that shows the hybrid's exact name, both parents, a star count and an income in $/s — exactly the fields this catalog records. Everything below was observed on those result screens or in gameplay footage, checked October 9, 2026 against the October 3, 2026 update. The list is deliberately open-ended rather than a claim that every hybrid is known: if a pair is missing here, it only means nobody has shown that fusion on video yet, and absence is never proof a fusion doesn't exist.
How this hybrid directory is organized
The lookup unit on this page is the resulting creature, not the recipe: find a hybrid by name or by what it looks like, read its recorded facts, and only then chase the input pair if you want it (the pair list lives in the Impossible Animals fusion combinations guide). Entries come in three evidence tiers, and each tier only promises what its evidence shows:
- Result-screen entries — read directly off a fusion result screen in a gameplay video: exact name, both parents, stars, $/s income, result type and a timestamped link to the moment the hybrid appears. The catalog built this way holds 72 results from 29 parent animals, each linked to its source.
- Footage-named hybrids — the game's exact on-screen name is confirmed in video, but not every catalog field was captured for them.
- Appearance-identified outcomes — the fusion is unmistakable on screen but no name plate was captured; these are listed by what they visibly are, with only the stats actually shown.
One sorting rule: the income column ranks earning rate, which is not a battle rating. Stars and $/s describe how fast a hybrid earns in your pen — nothing more.
Highest-earning standard hybrids on record
These came from ordinary result screens, so no lucky Shiny roll is needed to get them:
| Parents | Hybrid | Stars | Income |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stegosaurus + Wasp | Stegosawasp | 10 | $410/s |
| Ankylosaurus + Jerboa | Jerbosaurus | 10 | $293/s |
| Ant + Owl | Antowl | 9 | $133/s |
| Orangutan + Cowboy | Oranguwboy | 9 | $108/s |
| Wasp + Fox | Foxwasp | 9 | $106/s |
| Tank + Wasp | Tankwasp | 8 | $82/s |
| Wasp + Millipede | Waspede | 8 | $75/s |
| Cowboy + Spider | Cowbider | 7 | $42/s |
| Wasp + Orangutan | Oranguwasp | 7 | $38/s |
| Tank + Skeleton | Skeletank | 7 | $35/s |
Two trust notes: Wasp is the parent in five of the ten best results, and Ant + Owl is the easiest top entry to rely on — two different players fused that pair in opposite pick order and both got the same 9-star Antowl earning $133/s. Tankwasp was fused a second time a minute later and repeated exactly.
Other standard results seen on record
- Redpaffe (Red Panda + Giraffe) — 6 stars, $15/s. In one brand-new-account recording this was the very first fusion, complete with the "The First Hybrid" badge — if both animals are in your starting picker, it beats a random opening pair.
- Venusflyrthog (Warthog + Venus Fly Trap) — 3 stars, $2/s; the same player's next try.
Pair-level results are also on record where no hybrid name was captured: Tank + Venus Fly Trap made a 3-star hybrid earning $1/s, Tank + Giraffe a 4-star earning $3/s, and Stegosaurus + Orangutan a 3-star at $1/s. A cool parent guarantees nothing — Stegosaurus appears in both the best entry above and a $1/s dud — so check the pair, not the animal.
Double Fusion hybrids
Two recorded hybrids are Double Fusions — two already-saved hybrids fused together, which is why the result screen lists four original parents:
| Hybrid | Parents listed on the result screen | Stars | Income | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stegosebungray (Iridescent) | Cheeseburger + Stingray hybrid × Stegosaurus + Wasp hybrid | 12 | $1.54K/s | Iridescent Shiny |
| Venusflylytrex (Golden) | Venusflylphin × Venusflytrex (Golden) | 10 | $429/s | Golden Shiny |
Stegosebungray is the highest-recorded result in the catalog: 12 stars and $1.54K/s. The Venusflylytrex clip cost 1 Fusion Token.
Shiny hybrid entries
A Shiny is a rare lucky roll of a hybrid you could also get in standard form — Golden Shiny, Diamond Shiny or Iridescent Shiny — with more stars and more income than the standard. The odds are unknown, so treat a Shiny as a bonus and plan around the standard numbers:
| Hybrid | Parents | Version | Stars | Income |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dragowl | Owl + Dragonfly | Standard | 6 | $16/s |
| Dragowl (Golden) | Owl + Dragonfly | Golden Shiny | 8 | $73/s |
| Venusflytrex (Golden) | Venus Fly Trap + T-Rex | Golden Shiny | 9 | $192/s |
| Dragorilla (Golden) | Gorilla + Dragonfly | Golden Shiny | 7 | $45/s |
Owl + Dragonfly shows the gap: one video rolled the Golden Dragowl first ($73/s) and then the standard twice ($16/s), and a second player's rolls matched both values. For Venusflytrex and Dragorilla, only the Golden Shiny roll is on record so far — if you fuse those pairs yourself, expect less than the Shiny numbers. Rare-roll variants are covered further in the shiny hybrids guide.
Hybrids confirmed by name in gameplay footage
| Hybrid | Origin | Stars | Recorded notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chefox | Cheetah + Fox | 6 | First fusion in one playthrough; used in jungle battles |
| Warth-Rex | Warthog + T-Rex | 8 | Second saved hybrid in the same run |
| Rhinoturtle | Turtle + Rhino | 5 | Glows, per the player |
| Skeletmonkey | Skeleton + Monkey | — | One player found it weak in fights |
| Cheetacrab | Hatched from an egg | — | See the eggs route below |
| Tricertank | Tank + Triceratops, from an egg | 8 | The player called it very strong |
Three more hybrids are known by name only as opponents: Turtant (turtle + ant), Mantisiped and a level-two Traniped, fought as jungle and duel enemies rather than fused on camera. The jungle side of the game is covered in the the wild guide.
Outcomes identified by appearance only
These fusion results are clearly visible in footage, but their exact on-screen names were not captured — so they are listed by what they show, carrying only the stats actually displayed:
- Skeleton crab (skeleton + crab) — 4 stars
- Wolf-monkey (monkey + wolf) — hatched from a common egg
- Golden Venus-flytrap + T-Rex — 9 stars
- Flying T-Rex (T-Rex + dragonfly) — 6 stars
- Venus-flytrap dolphin — the player read it as about 5 stars
- A Double Fusion of the golden flytrap-T-Rex and the flytrap dolphin — 10 stars, four species combined
- Tall turtle (turtle + giraffe)
- Cowboy man-eating plant (cowboy + man-eating plant) — a man-eating plant holding a gun, with a tail
- Tank-cowboy (tank + cowboy) — 4 stars; the player called it a weak character
- Tank + giraffe — 4 stars, with a long neck, a seahorse-like face and tank-tread legs
- Tank + dolphin, tank + carnivorous plant and tank + crab — long-nosed tank variants
- Dragonfly-human — hatched from an 11-star pre-fused egg
- A spider + rhino mix, shown without any stats
What the recorded properties mean
- Income ($/s) is in-game cash, not real money: it is what a hybrid earns each second while it sits in your pen, and it is not a battle rating.
- Stars tell you the income. Across the standard results on record, $/s climbs with the star count: 3 stars earn $1–2/s, 4 stars $3–5/s, 5 stars $7–9/s, 6 stars $10–18/s, 7 stars $27–42/s, 8 stars $75–82/s, 9 stars $106–133/s and 10 stars $293–410/s.
- Levels are a separate system. One recorded hybrid went from Lv. 1 to Lv. 506 on the treadmill and its card still showed 10 stars and $429/s — training does not raise the listed stars or income. See hybrid levels and how to train hybrids for that side of the game.
- Shiny labels mark rare rolls, not a different pair: the same pair can produce either version, which is why the tables list them apart.
Where hybrids come from
- The fusion screen. It walks you through picking two unlocked animals — ones you don't own yet show a padlock. The result screen then shows the hybrid's name, both parents, its star count, its $/s income, and a Shiny label above the stars if you rolled a rare version. Save Hybrid sends it to your pen to start earning, New Fusion returns to the picker, and Explore World closes the screen. The full walk-through is in how to fuse hybrids.
- Eggs. Some eggs hatch pre-fused hybrids — the recorded examples are the wolf-monkey (common egg), Cheetacrab, the 8-star Tricertank and an 11-star dragonfly-human.
- Stage rewards. Beating a stage offers a choice of three rewards — animals or eggs — and the picks get better as stages get harder.
- Double Fusion. Fusing two saved hybrids is the route behind the catalog's top rows.
- The wild. Some hybrids exist only as enemy opponents in the jungle and duels.
Hybrid, standard, shiny and Double Fusion: the labels sorted
- Hybrid is any fused output creature — distinct from the unfused starting animals, which live on the animals list.
- Standard is the normal version of a hybrid, and its numbers are the ones to plan around.
- Shiny (Golden, Diamond, Iridescent) is a rare roll of that same hybrid with more stars and more income; the odds are not known.
- Double Fusion marks a hybrid made from two hybrids, listing four original parents on its result screen.
From lookup to fusion
Pick any hybrid above, then open the fusion combinations list to find its demonstrated input pair and the video moment where it was fused — the fusion guide explains the whole flow from the picker to the pen. And if you are choosing by payout, the money guide shows what those $/s figures actually do for your progression.
